The Shipping and Transport group is one of the major subsidiaries of VSH United. The group is providing services as agents, brokerage, survey, transport, cargo handling, port operations, stevedoring and turn key logistic support to customers including the oil industry. The head office is located in Paramaribo, in a modern office building owned by the real estate subsidiary and located on the main thoroughfare immediately adjacent to the New Harbor. This office complex also houses the holding company and a bonded warehouse.

Due to the wide range of services, VSH is able to manage the complete logistics, stevedoring, agency services, clearance and purchasing demands for offshore and special projects.
